Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LiJordan ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Katrusik Drive mobile application (the "App").

In short: Katrusik Drive has no account system, no server of its own, no advertising and no analytics. Your profile, saved places and trips are stored only on your phone, and we never receive them.

To find places and guide you along a route, the App relies on Apple Maps search and Google's navigation service. They receive what they need to do that job, as described in Section 4.

1. Information we collect

We collect no personal information about you. There is no sign-up, so we never ask for your email address, phone number or any other contact details, and nothing you do in the App is sent to us.

Specifically, Katrusik Drive does not:

  • ask you to create an account;
  • include advertising, analytics or tracking software of our own;
  • use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or track you across other apps and websites;
  • access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.

2. Information stored on your device

So that the App remembers you between drives, it keeps the following in its own storage on your iPhone:

  • the name you enter (optional) and your driving experience level;
  • your saved places — Home, Work and favorites — with their addresses and coordinates;
  • your recent trips (up to the last 50): the destination, when the trip started and ended, and the distance driven;
  • running totals: number of trips, distance and time behind the wheel;
  • your settings: calm route options, voice language and theme.

This data never leaves your device on its own. We cannot see it and have no way to retrieve it. It may be included in your iCloud or encrypted computer backup of the iPhone, which Apple manages under its own terms.

The App does not keep a record of where you have been: it stores where your trips ended, not the path you drove or your position along it.

3. Location and motion

With your permission, the App uses your device's location to:

  • show where you are and suggest search results near you;
  • build a route from where you are and guide you along it.

While a route is active, the App keeps using your location when the screen is locked or another app is open, so that guidance does not stop mid-drive. The App also reads motion data from the phone's sensors to keep navigation accurate.

You can change or withdraw location access at any time in iOS Settings → Katrusik Drive → Location. Without it, the App cannot build a route.

4. Services that process data for the App

4.1 Google navigation

Routes, live traffic, speed limits and turn-by-turn guidance are provided by the Google Navigation SDK. To build and follow a route, Google receives your current location and its updates while navigating, the destination you chose, your route options, and technical information about your device and the App. The Google SDK may also send Google diagnostic reports if it stops working unexpectedly.

Before your first trip, the App shows Google's terms, which you need to accept to navigate. Google processes this data as an independent controller under the Google Privacy Policy, and your use of these features is subject to the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. We do not receive this data and cannot see your routes.

4.2 Apple Maps search

When you search for an address or a place, the text you type and the approximate area around you (to show nearby results first) are sent to Apple to find matching places. Apple handles this under the Apple Privacy Policy.

4.3 The voice

Spoken guidance is produced by the speech voices built into iOS, on your device. Nothing you hear is generated on a server or recorded.

5. Advertising and sale of data

There is no advertising in the App. We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and we do not use any data for targeted advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

We hold no personal data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. You control what the App stores on your phone:

  • Profile → Clear trip history removes the trip log (your totals stay);
  • saved places can be deleted one by one in Profile → My places;
  • deleting the App removes everything it stored.

Data processed by Google and Apple is retained according to their own policies linked above.

7. Children

The App is a driving aid for people who are allowed to drive under the laws of their country, including learner drivers under supervision. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none: the data the App keeps is already in your hands, on your device. For data processed by Google or Apple, you can exercise your rights directly with them through the policies linked in Section 4.

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the App changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and its effective date before that version is released.
